Sorry for the delay in posting, but life has been busy with a move to a new place and the start of summer 2026, which marks not only a change in scenery but also a season filled with exciting events and celebrations. The festivities are as follows: we are thrilled to celebrate our new beginnings with welcoming Hailey Fritz to the Kirchgassner family, a moment that feels like the perfect way to commemorate the joys of family and friendship. Additionally, we have the honor of attending Charlotte Trossman’s graduation from high school, a significant milestone that represents years of hard work and dedication finally coming to fruition. Adding to the excitement, we are also looking forward to Hailey and Sam’s wedding, which promises to be a beautiful event filled with love and joy where friends and family will gather to share in their special day. Moreover, Zak is eagerly introducing us to a family game that he has been raving about, which will surely bring laughter and good times to our gatherings. Last but not least, we are preparing for the grand 250th Celebration of America, a monumental occasion that not only honors our nation’s history but also serves as a reminder of the freedom and unity we cherish. Each of these events holds a special place in our hearts and reminds us of the vibrant tapestry of life and the importance of celebrating together.
Essie at Hailey’s bridal shower was a heartwarming sight, cradling Maria, the youngest member of the Kirchgassner family, in her arms. The room was filled with laughter and joy as friends and family gathered to celebrate this special occasion, and Essie’s gentle smile highlighted the bond shared between her and little Maria. The vibrant decorations and beautifully arranged tables created an atmosphere of love and excitement, making this moment even more memorable for everyone present.
Hailey, in the center, radiates joy at her bridal shower, surrounded by the warm smiles and loving presence of Sam’s mother, Robyn, on the left, who beams with pride. Flanking Hailey are Sam’s aunts, each adding to the festive atmosphere: Barbara, Megan, Denise, Rachel, and Krista, creating an unforgettable celebration filled with love and camaraderie.
Charlotte Trossman at her high school graduation! Her parents, Matt and Marcie Trossman, hosted a wonderful celebration for friends and family that was a joyful culmination of years of hard work and dedication. The cheerful atmosphere was filled with laughter and chatter as guests mingled, sharing stories and memories. The food, desserts and drinks for the party included several delicious entrees, showcasing a variety of cuisines that catered to all palates, and wrapped around 3/4 of the building, creating a vibrant buffet that guests couldn’t resist. The array of colorful decorations and personal touches made the event feel truly special, reflecting Charlotte’s personality and the love that surrounded her on this significant day.
One week before the wedding, excitement fills the air as we gather at the Mersmanns’ spacious barn, immersed in laughter and friendly competition while playing the new game, Cincy Buzz, which was enthusiastically introduced by Zak. In the first picture, Sam and Hailey are seen sporting their competitive faces, determined to win. The second picture captures Joe and Sydney, who are thoroughly engaged in the game, showcasing their playful camaraderie. Not to be outdone, Joe and Hailey clinched the title of champions in the thrilling game, as depicted in the third picture; their smiles radiate pride and joy in their victory. Lastly, Robyn and Luke can be found relishing the pre-wedding festivities, enjoying snacks and sharing stories, contributing to the joyous atmosphere that surrounds us as we prepare to celebrate this special occasion.

4th of July–250th birthday of the USA……
Celebration of America on July 4th was a vibrant and joyous occasion for the residents of Yorkville, Indiana. There was a lively parade that brought the community together, filled with the sounds of laughter and patriotic music. Jeff, proudly featured in the middle picture, drove a beautifully decorated wagon loaded with his family, the Kirchgassners, who all shared in the excitement of the day. His son Owen also took part in the festivities, skillfully driving another group of Kirchgassners, showcasing the spirit of family and togetherness. It truly was a wonderful day that was attended by many community members, fostering a sense of pride and unity. In the first picture, we see Rita exuberantly giving a heartfelt shout-out to her dad, who bravely served in the 45th Infantry Division during WWII, a unit famously known as the “Thunderbirds.” Her gesture was a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by our veterans. Lastly, in the third picture, we find Luke beaming with excitement as he wishes America a resounding “Happy Birthday,” embodying the enthusiastic spirit of celebration that filled the air.
